we are sitting by a pond. It is late afternoon. We close our eyes.
A small brook gurgles quietly nearby, the birds cheerfully chirp their evening song. The scent of the approaching balmy summer evening wafts around our senses.
We exhale deeply and open our eyes.
In front of us and unnoticed by us, while we kept our eyes closed, a nymph slipped into the water and enjoys the mild, last sun rays of the day.
